Thermalright has unveiled its new flagship air cooler, the Frost Tower 140. It is a massive dual-tower system that the company is positioning as an alternative to 240 mm liquid cooling systems, but without the pump, tubes, and everything else.

The design is impressive: two radiator sections, seven 6 mm heat pipes, and a nickel-plated C1100 copper base. With the fans, it measures 140 x 146 x 158 mm, so it may not fit in compact cases. Three appearance options are available: all black, all white, and classic with chrome fins.

Two different fans are responsible for cooling: a 120 mm fan at the front blows air in, and a 140 mm fan in the center blows it through the radiators. The first spins up to 2400 rpm and pumps up to 83 CFM, while the larger one spins up to 1850 rpm and pumps up to 120 CFM. The noise level at maximum speed reaches 36 dBA.

The Frost Tower 140 is compatible with the current AM5, AM4, LGA1851, LGA1700, and LGA1200/115x platforms and is installed using the proprietary SS2 metal mount.

Thermalright has not yet disclosed the price or the claimed TDP, but it is clear that this cooler is designed for the most powerful chips.
