Transcend has launched the ESD420 compact SSD with MagSafe magnetic mount. With its large capacity combined with high data transfer speeds, it is positioned as a convenient solution for recording high-resolution mobile video, including uncompressed 4K ProRes movies.
Seagate has begun global shipments of its new Exos M and IronWolf Pro hard drives with capacities up to 30TB. These drives are based on the Mozaic 3+ platform and utilize heat-assisted magnetic recording (HAMR) technology.
