The Exascend PE4 16 TB solid-state drive is now available for purchase on Amazon. This capacity fits into a single M.2 slot. The Exascend NVMe SSD supports PCIe 4.0 x4 and uses TLC 3D NAND Flash memory modules from an unnamed manufacturer. The claimed sequential read speed reaches 3,270 MB/s, and the write speed is 2,980 MB/s. The drive's write endurance is 16,640 TB (TBW), while the estimated mean time between failures (MTBF) is approximately 2 million hours. The drive's power consumption in idle mode remains below 1.3 W, while under full load the SSD can consume up to 7.2 W of power, indicating a fairly good level of energy efficiency.
