1. To start, turn off the phone with the POWER button.

2. Next, press and hold the Volume Up(+) and POWER buttons for a few seconds.

3. When the Gionee logo appears, release the POWER button.

4. When Recovery mode appears, release the Volume Up(+) button.

5. Select wipe data / factory reset. Use the Volume Up(+)/Down(-) keys to go through the menu items and the POWER button to confirm.
