| No unfortunate the T126 device doesn't provide hardware support for the 4G LTE RF bands and VoLTE. The ZTE T126 (Telstra Cruise) only supports an extremely limited RF spectrums bands - the 3G (GSM/HSDPA) service in Australia was allocated in either the 850, 900 (T126 uses) or 2100MHz bands. The spectrum for the 2G (GSM) service in Australia is allocated in the 900MHz and 1800MHz (T126 uses). Both Telstra and Optus has block (via IMEI) the T126 access to their networks as per their legal and government obligations and requirements (device is not guaranteed to make successful calls to emergency services like 000 on any available network, since 2G/3G service doesn't exist). No wonder Telstra gave it to me for free decades ago lol | | |
