The LG Electronics catalog now features a new gaming monitor, the UltraGear evo 27GM950B. It stands out with its 5K resolution and new Hyper Mini LED technology. Thanks to two modes, users can choose between high image clarity and maximum smoothness. The monitor features a 27-inch screen with a resolution of 5120x2880 pixels (218 ppi), peak brightness of up to 1250 nits, and DisplayHDR 1000 certification. Thanks to 2,304 local dimming zones, the monitor controls backlighting more precisely and reduces the ?halo? effect around bright objects. The manufacturer specifically highlights that it has managed to reduce the distance between the backlight and the panel, which should improve contrast and black depth. LG is placing a strong emphasis on AI processing. The monitor can upscale images to 5K without placing a significant load on the graphics card, and it automatically adjusts the scene and sound to match the content being played. Depending on the task or usage scenario, you can choose 5K resolution at 165 Hz for greater clarity or switch to QHD The monitor features a range of modern interfaces, including DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C with power delivery, making it suitable not only for gaming but also as a work display. The screen itself can be rotated 90 degrees. The new model is already available in a number of markets at an estimated price of $1,200. |
