Alongside its flagship Book Pro 14 laptop, Xiaomi has unveiled its new Watch S5 smartwatch. The manufacturer promises impressive battery life, support for advanced health monitoring features, and deep integration with the Xiaomi ecosystem?from smart homes to cars.
One of the main improvements over the previous generation is the sensors. The Xiaomi Watch S5 uses a new system with four light sources and four photodiodes, thanks to which heart rate measurement accuracy reaches the claimed 98.4%. Sleep tracking algorithms have also been redesigned?the watch more accurately records sleep and wake phases.
The sports features have also been upgraded.
