These codes are garbage -do not work, except for 1 or 2 generic ones like IMEI...

Ok I've figured out how to enter the codes through the phone application however some of them don't work and some of them just disappear after entering and nothing happens. The only code that works is the IMEI display. It seems like the phone knows I'm trying to use something I shouldn't be. Do I need to root my device or something before all of these codes will work? Basically I'm trying to find a solution for a lock on the device which won't allow me to enter the carrier unlock code which I have. I'm MEP Blocked and trying to find away around it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jonathan
