Reputable insider OnLeaks revealed the upcoming redesign of Samsung's flagship and even published high-quality CAD renders of the device. The main difference from previous models in the series is expected to be a completely new camera module. Judging by the renders, the camera unit will be completely redesigned: instead of separate lenses along the left side of the rear panel, there will be a single unit at the top. This design is reminiscent of the approach Samsung planned to use on the canceled Galaxy S26 Edge . The Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra's new design has been revealed in high-quality renders. Judging by the renders, the new unit will be quite large: the maximum thickness of the smartphone, including the camera bump, will be approximately 12.53 mm, while the dimensions of the case itself will be approximately 163.76 x 78.25 x 7.97 mm. For comparison, the Galaxy S26 Ultra measures 163.6 x 78.1 x 7.9 mm. The S Pen is expected to remain. The biggest technical change could be the camera configuration itself. Rumor has it that Samsung will ditch the dedicated 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom, opting for a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x zoom. The main camera will allegedly feature a 1/1.3-inch ISOCELL HP6 sensor, while the ultra-wide-angle camera will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX855. Other specs include a 6.9-inch display, a new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Extreme processor or Exynos 2700 in select regions, and a silicon-carbon battery with a capacity of around 5,700 mAh. The Galaxy S27 series is likely to be unveiled in February 2027. |
