REDMI 17C 5G Unveiled: Capacious Battery and 120Hz Screen for $220

REDMI has unveiled its new REDMI 17C 5G smartphone. This affordable model is ideal for basic everyday tasks. Despite its price tag, it boasts decent battery life and a display with smooth animations.

The REDMI 17C 5G features a 6.9-inch IPS

In Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you�re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late �IPS� has become a big marketing word. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple�s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..display with HD+ resolution. Its maximum refresh rate is 120 Hz, and its peak brightness is up to 810 nits. At the heart of the device is a Dimensity 6300 processor, complemented by 4 GB of RAM

The REDMI 17C 5G's battery life is supported by a 6000 mAh battery with 33W wired charging. The smartphone's main camera has a resolution of 50 MP, and an 8 MP front-facing camera is embedded in the display.

The smartphone runs HyperOS 3, based on Android 16. Its body is IP64-rated for dust and splash resistance. Other features include a microSD card slot and a classic 3.5mm headphone jack.

The device is available in China in black, purple, and brown, with the latter featuring a faux leather back cover. The base REDMI 17C 5G model is priced at $220.
