G.Skill has published a report on the record overclocking of its branded DDR5 RAM ![]() Canadian overclocker saltycroissant managed to overclock G.SKILL Trident Z5 DDR5-8000 CL38 to nominal 6026 MHz (DDR5-12,052) in conjunction with ASRock Z890 Taichi OCF motherboard and Intel Core Ultra 7 265K processor. A slightly better result (DDR5-12 054) was achieved by speed.fastest enthusiast from Indonesia, who included Intel Core Ultra 9 285K chip and ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Apex motherboard into the test platform. The achieved records were recorded in the HWBOT and CPU-Z databases. Previously, such indicators required the use of ?extreme? cooling systems - however, it is unlikely to count on the long-term stable operation of the hardware with such overclocking. |
