Atari has announced the upcoming launch of Gamestation Go: a licensed portable console from My Arcade with a pre-installed collection of classic games. Aimed at retro gaming enthusiasts, the new product combines modern design with an original set of controls. The Atari Gamestation Go is equipped with a 7-inch display and an original controller with a rotary knob and digital pad. To prevent users from getting confused by the unfamiliar layout, SmartGlow lighting highlights the buttons and other elements needed for a particular game. According to the manufacturer, the built-in battery lasts for 4-5 hours of gaming. The console's memory is loaded with over 200 classic games, including Missile Command: Recharged, Berzerk: Recharged, Pac-Man, Asteroids: Recharged, Breakout: Recharged, and Balls of Steel, as well as hits from the Atari 2600/5200/7800 era and arcade titles from gaming machines. The retail price of the Atari Gamestation Go in the US market is $179, with deliveries to the first buyers starting in October 2025. |
