The XPPen brand's catalog of gadgets has been enriched with an Android tablet that is positioned as a note-taking device. It comes with a proprietary electronic pen that recognizes up to 16,384 pressure levels, and is equipped with a matte screen with ?paper? characteristics.

The face of the XPPen Magic Note Pad is a 10.9-inch IPSIn Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..display with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Its color gamut is 95% sRGB and its maximum brightness is 400 nits. The tablet supports three content display modes:

Paper Mode: black and white mode.
Light Color Mode: low color saturation like E-Ink screens.
Nature Color Mode: normal display mode.
The device comes with an XP Pro Pencil 2 stylus with a soft tip, magnetic attachment and button. It recognizes 16,384 levels of pressure and is handy for drawing and handwritten notes. There's also a notes app created in collaboration with Jnotes. In it, you can quickly convert handwritten text to typed text.

The eight-core MediaTek MT8781 processor is responsible for the performance of the device. The RAMRandom Access Memory (RAM) is the place in a computer where the operating system, application programs, and data in current use are kept so that they can be quickly reached by the computers processor. is 8GB and the storage is 128GB. Charge of the 8000 mAh battery, as the manufacturer claims, will be enough on average for a week.

The XPPen Magic Note Pad is priced at $439 on the US market.
