Xiaomi has released a new generation of flagship smartwatches. The Watch 5 model is designed with an emphasis on design, battery life, and new ways to interact. The accessory combines a classic look with advanced health tracking features. The watch has a 1.54-inch round AMOLED Performance is provided by a combination of Snapdragon W5 and the energy-efficient BES2800 chip. This architecture allows for a combination of smart features and up to 18 days of battery life in an economical usage scenario. One of the main features is the electromyography (EMG) sensor: with its help, the watch recognizes gestures, allowing you to control the Xiaomi interface and ecosystem without touching it. Support for more than 150 training modes and advanced health monitoring functions, including ECG recording, has also been announced. The Xiaomi Watch 5 is available in two versions: standard and eSIM, which can work without a smartphone. In China, the new product is priced at 1,999 yuan (~$285) for the basic version and 2,299 yuan (~$329) for the eSIM model. |
