A well-known Chinese insider Digital Chat Station published information about the second generation of the foldable smartphone Xiaomi Mix Flip. He told about the key improvements that will affect performance, autonomy and reliability, and also called the release date of the novelty. According to the insider, Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 will get a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and the battery capacity will be increased from 4780 mAh to 5100 mAh compared to its predecessor. The smartphone will also get support for 50-watt wireless charging, which was not present in the first generation at all. Digital Chat Station also reported a reduction in the crease where the screen folds. In addition, the smartphone will get IPx8 water protection.
