Wacom unveils new Cintiq line of graphics tablets starting at $700 |

Wacom has expanded its Cintiq line of graphics tablets with the launch of three models: the Cintiq 16, Cintiq 24 and Cintiq 24 Touch. The new models are slim and lightweight, have a narrower bezel than their predecessors, and support the Wacom Pro Pen 3 digital pen. The Cintiq 16 has a 16-inch screen with 2.5K (2560x1600 pixels) resolution and 60Hz refresh rate, while the Cintiq 24 and Cintiq 24 Touch have 23.8-inch screens with the same resolution of 2560x1440 pixels. The latter boasts touch support. The manufacturer adds that all three models have an anti-reflective coating, which not only eliminates reflections, but also creates a friction effect when working with a stylus, which resembles the sensation of drawing on ordinary paper. The Wacom Pro Pen 3 digital pen has a 12ms response time, support for 8192 levels of pressure, a tilt angle of up to 60 degrees, and three programmable buttons. There is also a special version of the Wacom Pro Pen 3 Wood Grip with a textured finish for a natural feel in the hand. The Cintiq 24 and Cintiq 24 Touch have an adjustable stand for added comfort, while the Cintiq 16 has folding feet and stand compatibility. All three tablets support VESA mounting (75x75mm), and there are USB Type-C ![]() Wacom Cintiqs will be available this summer. The Cintiq 16 will be priced at $700, the Cintiq 24 will cost $1300, and the Cintiq 24 Touch will cost $1500. |
