Affordable vivo Y50 smartphones with capacious batteries unveiled |

The company vivo introduced a new line of smartphones Y50, which includes a basic model and a version Y50m 5G. The main characteristics of the devices are the same, including a capacious battery and a protected body, and the difference between them is only in the memory configurations. Both smartphones are equipped with a 6.74-inch IPS  In Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..screen with a resolution of 1600x720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The Dimensity 6300 chip is responsible for the performance of the newcomers, while OriginOS 5 based on Android 15 is used as the OS. Memory configurations include versions with 128 or 256 GB of permanent memory and 4 (Y50 only), 6, 8 and 12 GB of RAMRandom Access Memory (RAM) is the place in a computer where the operating system, application programs, and data in current use are kept so that they can be quickly reached by the computers processor..For photos and videos, the manufacturer has equipped the smartphones with a dual rear camera with a 13MP wide-angle sensor and a 5MP front-facing camera. Other specifications include a 6000 mAh battery with support for 44-watt charging, support for 5G networks and IP64 class water protection. The vivo Y50 and Y50m 5G are available in black and blue colors, as well as a beige colorway with a marble pattern. The Y50 is priced at $143 for 4/128GB, while the 6/128GB Y50m will cost a starting price of $209. |
