Vivo has released the budget-friendly Y05 smartphone, which offers several interesting features for its price range. In particular, the device features a durable yet relatively slim body that houses a high-capacity battery.

The Vivo Y05 is built on the Unisoc T7225 processor. The device has 4 GB of RAMRandom Access Memory (RAM) is the place in a computer where the operating system, application programs, and data in current use are kept so that they can be quickly reached by the computers processor. and 64 or 128 GB of internal storage. The 6.74-inch IPSIn Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..screen with a resolution of 1600x720 pixels supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of up to 1200 cd/m².

A 6500 mAh battery is responsible for the smartphone's autonomy. According to the manufacturer, even after 1600 charge cycles (about five years of operation), the battery capacity will be at least 80% of its initial capacity.

Another feature of the model is its shock-resistant 8.4 mm thick body, certified to SGS (5 stars), MIL-STD-810H, and IP65 standards. The main camera has a resolution of 8 MP, and the front camera has a resolution of 5 MP. The device runs on OriginOS 6 firmware based on Android 16.

The list of features is complemented by a side fingerprint scanner and an RGB notification indicator on the back panel. The gadget measures 167.4 x 77.1 x 8.4 mm and weighs 209 grams.

The Vivo Y05 is now available in Egypt starting at $109.
