vivo has announced the global launch of its flagship X300 Ultra smartphone. In terms of specifications, the device will be virtually identical to the Chinese version, but the price outside of China could be a serious blow to the wallet. The device features a 6.82-inch OLED The rear camera module includes a primary 200-megapixel Sony LYT-901 sensor with a 35mm focal length and a telephoto lens with a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP0 sensor featuring 3.7x optical zoom. Two external teleconverters are available separately for the smartphone, with equivalent focal lengths of 200 mm (8.7x) and 400 mm (17.4x). The new model also supports custom shooting profiles, 4K Log video recording at 120 fps, cinematic-style video recording, audio recording presets, and an updated professional video mode. The smartphone is already available for pre-order in Europe (from April 16 to 24). Prices are predictably high. The top-of-the-line configuration with 1 TB of storage and no additional accessories costs ?1,999, which is equivalent to $2,355. The full package with a 400mm lens, a special case, and other accessories will cost ?3,166 (about $3,729). In China, the top-of-the-line version with 16 GB + 1 TB and a photography kit costs approximately $1,760. |
