An insider going by the username Tech Home shared a major leak about the OPPO Pad 5 Pro tablet ahead of the device's official launch. On the social network X, he posted images of the device, as well as a complete list of its technical specifications.
According to the source, the OPPO Pad 5 Pro will feature a 13.2-inch IPS In Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..display. It will have a resolution of 3.4K and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The tablet's performance will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, while battery life will be handled by a 13,380 mAh battery with support for 67-watt charging.
Four memory configurations are expected: 8/256 GB, 12/256 GB, 12/512 GB, and 16/512 GB. Rounding out the specs are a 13-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, an eight-speaker audio system, and a slim (5.94 mm) body weighing 672 g.
Leaked renders show the OPPO Pad 5 Pro in a brown color scheme. If the images are accurate, the device will feature an oval main camera module and a flat display without notches.
The OPPO Pad 5 Pro is expected to launch this month, but an exact date has not yet been announced.
