Vivo continues to reveal details about its new flagship X300 series. The manufacturer has shown the basic and Pro versions in different colors, the branded Zeiss 2.35x teleconverter, as well as examples of photos taken using zoom in difficult scenarios. The main feature of the new series is its compatibility with the teleconverter, not only in the Pro version, but also in the standard X300 model. For convenience, the accessory is available in two colors to match the shades of the smartphone body. In addition, vivo has expanded the operating modes: now, in addition to telephoto shooting, regular photos and portraits are available. Complete with an updated 200 MP telephoto lens, the accessory offers an equivalent focal length of up to 200 mm at f/2.3, which was previously only found in the top-of-the-line X200 Ultra. Attention has also been paid to stabilization. The new X300 Pro has received a CIPA rating of 5.5, while the regular X300 has received a rating of 4.5, which is considered one of the best in the industry. This means that the X300 Pro will be able to use twice as long an exposure while maintaining the same sharpness. In terms of design, vivo is betting on slim bodies and velvety glass. The 7.99 mm thick X300 Pro will get a 6.78-inch screen, while the regular X300 will get a 6.31-inch screen with a thickness of 7.95 mm. Inside, there will be a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and a proprietary V3+ image processing processor. The camera unit in the X300 Pro includes a Zeiss APO telephoto lens (85 mm) with a resolution of 200 MP and a main module with a Sony LYT-828 sensor at 50 MP, while the standard version offers a main camera at 200 MP and a telephoto lens with a resolution of 50 MP. The official announcement of the X300 series will take place on October 13 in China. |
