At Computex 2025, V-Color demonstrated unusual Xfinity Manta RAM ![]() ![]() The screen is located on the side of the module. You can customize the displayed information with the help of proprietary software. The black stripes on the photo, as the source claims, are a consequence of low refresh rate and not a factory defect at all. Adding a screen eliminates the possibility of placing memory chips on this side, which, in turn, leads to a decrease in the maximum capacity of modules. So far, the company has only shown dual-channel kits of two 24GB slats. The Xfinity Manta modules also feature aluminum heatsinks and bright customizable RGB lighting. For gamers who are satisfied with two slots, they can buy inexpensive LED plug-in modules to make a motherboard-based build with four DIMM slots look more impressive. The new products are still at the prototype stage, but the company expects to bring them to the market by the end of this year. The price of memory modules has not been announced yet. |
