Another LG novelty is UltraGear 45GX990A monitor with unusual characteristics. This is the first on the market gaming 45-inch OLED-model with a matrix capable of changing the degree of curvature at the command of the user. The LG UltraGear 45GX990A screen can become either flat or curved (900R) using a special mechanism. In addition, the company notes that the screen resolution of 5120x2160 pixels (125 ppi) even in isolation from the type of matrix - a record for gaming models. The monitor runs webOS and can be used even without connecting to a PC (play with the help of cloud services or watch online videos). Another feature of the model is the Dual Mode function: it has several combinations of refresh rate and screen resolution. The company does not disclose the figures yet, but the previous model of the series had a choice between 4K @ 240 Hz and 1080p @ 480 Hz. The launch date and price of the monitor have not yet been announced. At the same time, the company announced its traditional flat version called 45GX950A. |
