The Thunderobot monitor family has been expanded with a new model, the ZQ27F400L. Thanks to its impressive matrix speed, the brand claims it will be a universal solution for esports games and modern AAA projects.
The new model is equipped with a 27-inch IPS In Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..matrix with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, a brightness of 450 cd/m², and a response time of 1 ms (GtG). The monitor's stock refresh rate is 400 Hz, and in overclocking mode, it is 425 Hz. Adaptive-Sync technology is supported to eliminate image tearing.
The set of interfaces includes HDMI and DisplayPort connectors, as well as a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The included stand allows you to adjust the height, tilt, and rotation of the display. Alternatively, you can use a 75x75 mm VESA mount.
The price of the Thunderobot ZQ27F400L in China is 1999 yuan (about $280), and there is no information yet on when sales of the new product will start in other countries.
