Thermaltake has released the TPM-O49CDQ ultra-wide monitor, equipped with a large curved QD-OLED panel. The new product supports a variety of modern technologies for gamers and content creators. The 49-inch monitor screen has a resolution of 5120x1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 240 Hz, a peak brightness of 250 nits, and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Gaming features include a 0.03 ms GtG response time and support for G-SYNC Compatible and FreeSync Premium technologies for smooth, tear-free images. Interfaces include two HDMI 2.1 connectors, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, a full-featured USB Type-C  With the continued success of the USB interface, there exists a need to adapt USB technology to serve newer computing platforms and devices as they trend toward smaller, thinner and lighter form-factors.
