TECNO Introduces CAMON 40 Series With Advanced Cameras |

At the MWC 2025 exhibition in Barcelona, TECNO presented a new series of CAMON 40 smartphones. It includes four models: CAMON 40 Premier 5G, CAMON 40 Pro 5G, CAMON 40 Pro and the basic CAMON 40. All devices received advanced image processing algorithms based on artificial intelligence, and the three senior models are protected from water and dust according to the IP69 standard. The main feature of the series is the camera system with FlashSnap mode, which captures moving objects thanks to a shutter speed of up to 1/12000 of a second and machine learning algorithms. The devices take a series of photos, and then the system automatically selects the best frame. In addition, the smartphones (except for the basic model) use front cameras with a resolution of 50 MP and eye autofocus. The flagship model CAMON 40 Premier 5G is equipped with four 50-megapixel cameras, including the main module with a Sony LYT-701 sensor, a periscope telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide-angle lens. The smartphone received an AMOLED ![]() The CAMON 40 series smartphones support TECNO AI features, including Ella voice assistant, phone call transcription, real-time translator, text editor with paraphrasing and error correction capabilities, and photo editing tools. These include an AI eraser to remove objects from photos, an AI expander to draw in areas outside the frame, and a group photo enhancement feature that can replace closed eyes with open eyes.
