Team Group introduced SSD with self-destructing data function |

Team Group's range of branded solutions now includes an enterprise-class SSD drive P250Q. Its feature is the hardware self-destruct function. Self-destruction allows irrevocably erasing data by means of electric current point impact on flash memory chips. For convenience, there is an activation button that starts the data erase function in one click. The status of the process is displayed by LED-indicator, and special software guarantees the completion of data deletion even after a sudden power failure. Team Group P250Q is designed in M.2 format and has 3D TLC NAND memory with NVMe 1.4 protocol support. The novelty has read and write speeds of 7,000 and 5,000 MB/s respectively. The drive is available in four configurations: 256, 512 GB, 1 and 2 TB. The price is not yet known. |
