New TCL mini-LED TVs with quantum dots start at $7,000 |

TCL has updated its flagship series of TVs with quantum dot matrices and mini-LED backlighting. The 2026 model range, presented at CES, includes three devices with large screens and steep prices. The TCL X11L SQD-mini LED TV line consists of models with display diagonals of 75, 85, and 98 inches (up to 20,000 dimming zones) and peak brightness of up to 10,000 cd/m². Unlike last year's versions, the new models support Deep Color technology (improved color reproduction) and Halo Control System (which ?extinguishes? halos around bright objects in the frame). In addition, the new TVs are equipped with more advanced AI chips that improve upscaling performance and enhance image smoothness and contrast in any scenario. Representatives of the renowned audio brand Bang & Olufsen participated in the acoustic tuning of the new models. All models in the TCL X11L SQD-mini LED series run on Google TV and support the Gemini smart voice assistant. The US price for the 75-, 85-, and 98-inch screen versions is $7,000, $8,000, and $10,000, respectively. |
