TCL has expanded its branded Thunderbird line of premium TVs with the release of the Crane 6 Ultra and Crane 6 Pro (2025) models. Both new products feature bright mini-LED backlit matrices, performance hardware and firmware with integrated DeepSeek neural network features. The Thunderbird Crane 6 Ultra model is available in five versions with a VA-screen diagonal from 55 to 98 inches. Depending on the modification, up to 1152 zones of local dimming are supported, and the peak backlight brightness is up to 2000 nits. In addition, the displays have a refresh rate of 144 Hz, coverage of 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and anti-reflective coating. The TVs are equipped with 4 GB of RAM ![]() ![]() ![]() TCL Crane 6 Pro (2025) comes in three versions with a diagonal of 65, 75 and 85 inches. It retains the key features of the Ultra version, including 144Hz frequency, maximum brightness of 2000 nits and 95% DCI-P3 coverage. At the heart of the TV is the same chip, there's support for wireless connectivity standards and a 2.1.2-channel audio system. The manufacturer does not directly specify what is the difference between the models - probably it is a question of the number of local dimming zones and a set of supported technologies. In the Chinese market, TCL Thunderbird Crane 6 Ultra is priced from $476 for the 55-inch model. The 65-inch Thunderbird Crane 6 Pro (2025) is also available at the same price. |
