TCL has unveiled its Q9M family of smart TVs with fourth-generation RGB-Mini LED backlighting. The series includes four models, differing in the number of local dimming zones and the amount of built-in memory for installing applications. All new models are based on the MediaTek 9655+ processor and equipped with 4 GB of RAM ![]() The new models run on the TCL Lingxi System 3.0 operating system with the Fuxi AI large language model, which provides voice control support, content recommendations, and image optimization. The new models' set of interfaces includes HDMI 2.1, AV IN, and USB-A ports. Audio capabilities are provided by a 2.1-channel Onkyo system with a dedicated sound processing chip, while wireless connectivity is provided by Wi-Fi ![]() The flagship model in the series with a 98-inch screen is equipped with 128 GB of storage, while models with smaller screens have 64 GB. In addition to screen size, the models also differ in the number of dimming zones (shown in parentheses below).
