TCL has expanded its range with the new NXTPAPER 11 Gen 2 tablet. A special feature of the new product is its display with NXTPAPER 4.0 technology, which, according to the company, looks and feels like paper, reducing strain on the user's eyes.
The tablet has an IPS In Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..screen with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels and supports three modes: normal color, color paper, and black and white paper. According to the manufacturer, NXTPAPER 4.0 nanomatrix lithography applied over the screen's protective glass creates an anti-glare surface. A circular polarizer modifies the light flow, preventing dryness and eye fatigue, while a physical light filter reduces the level of potentially harmful blue light.
The NXTPAPER 11 Gen 2 is powered by an entry-level MediaTek Helio G80 chip with 6/8 GB of RAM Random Access Memory (RAM) is the place in a computer where the operating system, application programs, and data in current use are kept so that they can be quickly reached by the computers processor. and 64 or 128 GB of internal storage. The included T-Pen stylus recognizes 4096 pressure levels and can be stored in a magnetic mount on the branded stand (also included). Other features include an 8-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, a pair of speakers, and an 8000 mAh battery.
The price for the TCL NXTPAPER 11 Gen 2 with stylus and case is $269 for the 64 GB version and $299 for the 128 GB version.
