Samsung has expanded its ViewFinity S8 series of professional monitors with the addition of the 37-inch S80UD model. The new model sits between the 32-inch and 43-inch versions and features a UHD resolution screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It provides more workspace compared to the smaller model. The monitor is TÜV Rheinland certified as an Ergonomic Workspace Display and features Intelligent Eye Care technology to reduce eye strain by reducing blue light and flicker. Features include a KVM switch for connecting to multiple PCs, PBP and PIP modes, as well as USB Type-C  With the continued success of the USB interface, there exists a need to adapt USB technology to serve newer computing platforms and devices as they trend toward smaller, thinner and lighter form-factors. Many of these newer platforms and devices are reaching a point where existing USB receptacles and plugs are inhibiting innovation, especially given the relatively large size and internal volume constraints of the Standard-A and Standard-B versions of USB connectors. and LAN ports with support for up to 90W charging, data transfer, and wired network connection.For ease of assembly, an Easy Setup Stand is provided, which takes about 10 seconds to install and requires no tools. The stand supports height, tilt, and swivel adjustment for a more comfortable screen position. At the same time, the company unveiled the 37-inch Odyssey G7 (G75F) for gamers. It features a curved (1000R) panel with 4K UHD resolution, a refresh rate of 165 Hz, and a response time of 1 ms. |
