Samsung and smart lamp brand Yeelight announced an interesting partnership at IFA 2025. Now, some TVs from the South Korean brand will be able to synchronize with certain models of decorative lamps to create atmospheric lighting around the screen.

Yeelight Cube Kit, Obsid Light Strip, Beam Light Bar, and Cube Lite lamps have learned to duplicate the accent background lighting of Samsung Neo QLED 2025 TVs, models with micro LED and OLEDOLED technology was invented by Eastman Kodak in the early 1980s. OLED panels are made from organic (carbon based) materials that emit light when electricity is applied through them. Since OLEDs do not require a backlight and filters (unlike LCD displays), they are more efficient, simpler to make, and much thinner. OLEDs have a great picture quality - brilliant colors, fast response rate and a wide viewing angle. OLEDs can also be used to make OLED lighting - thin, efficient and without any bad metals.screens, and most QLED TVs (except Q6F).

You can set up the collaboration using the Yeelight TV Universe app, which is available for free download from the Smart Hub store. Yeelight LightEcho technology does not require any cables, cameras, or other ?crutches? for synchronization.

The developers promise minimal latency and compatibility with any content. It is also known that the availability of Yeelight TV Universe depends on the region, but the company has not yet published an exact list of countries where the app can be downloaded.
