Samsung Unveils the Galaxy A57 with Dual AI and Awesome Intelligence Tools

Samsung has unveiled its new mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37, highlighting their artificial intelligence features. Both models come equipped with the Awesome Intelligence suite of tools, previously available on the brand's higher-end devices.

The smartphones come with One UI 8.5 and support AI features such as speech recognition with transcription, text extraction from images, and advanced multitasking capabilities. Photo editing tools have also been updated: object removal is now more accurate, and the Best Face feature (available on the A57) helps enhance group photos.

Special attention has been paid to the integration of assistants into the system: Bixby handles device control, while Google Gemini handles more complex scenarios involving multiple apps. The Circle to Search feature has also been updated and now recognizes multiple objects on the screen at once.

Both models feature 6.7-inch displays with Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy A57 uses a Super AMOLED+ panel in a 6.9mm-thick body, while the A37 is equipped with a standard Super AMOLEDAMOLED, which stands for Active Matrix OLED, is a hybrid display technology that pairs the active matrix backplane from a traditional TFT display with an OLED display. As a result of their active matrix natures, AMOLED displays have faster pixel switching response times than do traditional OLED displays, which are prone to ghosting when displaying fast moving animations.display. Performance is handled by the new mid-range Exynos 1680 platform, and the A57 additionally features an enlarged vapor chamber.

The main cameras on these smartphones are similar: a 50 MP main camera, a 5 MP macro camera, and a 12 MP front-facing camera. The difference lies in the ultra-wide-angle camera: 12 MP on the A57 versus 8 MP on the A37.

Both models are equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging support.
