AMD has confirmed rumors about the existence of a new ?budget? Ryzen processor with 3D cache and held a presentation. At the same time, the company talked about the gaming performance of its proprietary chip, comparing it with competitors. The AMD Ryzen 5 7500X3D is a six-core processor with 12 execution threads and 96 MB of third-level cache (including 64 MB of 3D V-Cache). The base clock speed of the new product is 4.0 GHz, the maximum is 4.5 GHz, and the TDP is 65 W. Based on the results of internal testing, the company positions the new product as a competitor to mid-range Intel models. In particular, the ?red? chip is claimed to have an advantage of up to 8% in AAA titles compared to the Core i5 14600K, and from 13 to 22% when compared to the Core Ultra 5 245KF. In addition to having fewer cores than its older siblings, the processor has a lower clock speed. It is 500 MHz slower than the 7800X3D model and 700 MHz slower than the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. The recommended retail price of the AMD Ryzen 5 7500X3D on the international market is $269. |
