Xiaomi has unveiled its new Redmi Note 15 Pro smartphone series. The company is emphasizing reliability and battery life: the devices feature a high-capacity battery and a body with enhanced protection against water, dust, and mechanical damage. The higher-end Redmi Note 15 Pro+ also features an advanced cooling system and satellite connectivity support ? a first for the brand outside of its flagship models.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro is built on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra chipset, while the Pro+ model is the first device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. The Pro+ uses an original closed-loop liquid cooling system, which, according to the manufacturer, triples heat dissipation efficiency compared to traditional vapor chambers.

Both versions feature a 6.83-inch OLEDOLED technology was invented by Eastman Kodak in the early 1980s. OLED panels are made from organic (carbon based) materials that emit light when electricity is applied through them. Since OLEDs do not require a backlight and filters (unlike LCD displays), they are more efficient, simpler to make, and much thinner. OLEDs have a great picture quality - brilliant colors, fast response rate and a wide viewing angle. OLEDs can also be used to make OLED lighting - thin, efficient and without any bad metals.display with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and brightness up to 3200 nits. The screen supports 12-bit color depth, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+, and is covered with Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass protective glass.

The cameras on the models differ. The Redmi Note 15 Pro is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor, assisted by a wide-angle and macro module. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ also has a 50-megapixel main module, but it uses a more advanced Light Fusion 800 sensor with optical stabilization, complemented by a 50-megapixel telephoto camera and an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera.

The manufacturer has paid attention to the reliability of the case. The smartphones are certified to several standards: IP66, IP68IP (or "Ingress Protection") ratings are defined in international standard EN 60529 (British BS EN 60529:1992, European IEC 60509:1989). They are used to define levels of sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures against intrusion from foreign bodies (tools, dirt etc) and moisture. The numbers that follow IP each have a specific meaning. The first indicates the degree of protection (of people) from moving parts, as well as the protection of enclosed equipment from foreign bodies. The second defines the protection level that the enclosure enjoys from various forms of moisture (drips, sprays, submersion etc). , and IP69K. This means protection not only from dust and immersion in water, but also resistance to overheating and exposure to powerful pressurized jets. The company also claims that the new models can withstand dozens of drops from a height of two meters without critical damage.

Both smartphones are equipped with a 7000 mAh battery. The Redmi Note 15 Pro supports 45W charging, while the Pro+ supports up to 90W. Both models can operate in reverse charging mode (22.5W), allowing them to power other devices. The special Pro+ Satellite Edition supports communication via the Beidou satellite system, allowing you to send messages even outside the coverage area of mobile operators.

The price of the Redmi Note 15 Pro in China starts at $208 for the 8 + 256 GB configuration, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will cost at least $278 for the 12 + 256 GB version. The top-of-the-line Satellite Edition with 16 + 512 GB of memory is priced at $348.
