Redmi G27Q unveiled: fast and inexpensive monitor for gamers |
|
Another novelty of Redmi brand is the G27Q monitor aimed at gamers. In addition to the display with high refresh rate and fast response, the model is notable for good color accuracy and practical stand with wide adjustment options. The novelty is equipped with a 27-inch Fast IPSIn Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..display with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, refresh rate up to 180 Hz and maximum backlight brightness of 300 cd/m². The panel response time is 1 ms (GtG), color gamut is 95% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB (ΔE<2). The monitor also features AMD FreeSync technology support, flicker-free backlighting and TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light compliance. The monitor's included stand allows the display to be adjusted for height, tilt and swivel (including portrait orientation). Alternatively, a VESA 75x75 mm wall mount bracket can be used. Two HDMI 2.0 and DispayPort 1.4 connectors are provided to connect the signal source. The price of the novelty in China is 1399 yuan ($196), there is no information about its availability in other regions. |
