REDMI Book (2026) Laptops with 120Hz Displays Unveiled |

The new 2026 models of the REDMI Book 14 and 16 laptops have been unveiled. The manufacturer is focusing on powerful processors, high-quality displays, metal chassis, and an affordable price. The devices themselves are optimized for everyday tasks. Both models are built around the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H chip?a 14-core processor focused on energy efficiency and integrated graphics. The manufacturer claims up to 60W of performance, which is rare for such thin laptops. Cooling is handled by a system with two fans and heat pipes. Depending on the configuration, the laptops come with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM  Random Access Memory (RAM) is the place in a computer where the operating system, application programs, and data in current use are kept so that they can be quickly reached by the computers processor. and an SSD of up to 1 TB with a PCIe 4.0 interface. There is an option for expansion via M.2, which is rare for compact models. The 80Wh battery is the same in both versions, and the included 100W GaN adapter can be used to charge smartphones and other devices.The port selection includes USB Type-C With the continued success of the USB interface, there exists a need to adapt USB technology to serve newer computing platforms and devices as they trend toward smaller, thinner and lighter form-factors. Many of these newer platforms and devices are reaching a point where existing USB receptacles and plugs are inhibiting innovation, especially given the relatively large size and internal volume constraints of the Standard-A and Standard-B versions of USB connectors. Prices start at 5,999 yuan (~$879) for the REDMI Book 14 and 6,199 yuan (~$909) for the 16-inch version, with top-tier configurations costing up to 7,199 yuan (~$1,055). |
