realme has announced a partnership agreement with Japanese company Ricoh. Their first joint product will be the upcoming flagship realme GT 8 Pro, whose camera was developed with the participation of employees of the Japanese brand. In addition to the smartphone itself, the official teaser shows a Ricoh GR series digital camera. The slogan ?Four years in one frame? hints at the length of the joint development, although the partners have not yet disclosed any details. Realme representatives have stated that the GT 8 Pro will provide advanced image processing capabilities thanks to a number of innovations in optics, color correction, and various image processing technologies. As part of the partnership, the company is paying special attention to street photography, a genre associated with Ricoh's compact cameras. The smartphone will also feature a special camera interface that mimics the Ricoh GR. It is already known that the realme GT 8 Pro will be equipped with a removable decorative element for the camera module. The company will reveal more details about the smartphone at a presentation on October 14. |
