MSI has revealed the Project Zero X cable-free panoramic computer |

One of the most interesting novelties of MSI at CES 2025 was a conceptual desktop computer Project Zero X. Its peculiarity is the absence of any visible cables and atypical location of I/O ports, which allowed to make a panoramic case for the novelty. MSI Project Zero X is an updated version of the 2023 MSI Project Zero concept. The company has set itself the goal of making desktops as attractive as possible in terms of appearance. In the new model, the case is transparent on four sides, including the top. MSI uses a special motherboard with atypical connection of components. Judging by the photo, there are only two cables visible to the public, which are connected to the video card and the liquid cooling system. All the others are completely hidden from the eyes. All I/O ports are located behind the motherboard. The video card ports are facing the bottom of the case and are not accessible from the outside. Instead, MSI has placed three DisplayPort and two HDMI ports on the back panel. There are also three Thunderbolt 4, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 and four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports. There are no details about the price and release date of MSI Project Zero X or the components used in the computer. |
