The new POCO X8 Pro Max has just been unveiled, and the first reviews and comprehensive tests have already appeared online?with the main focus, as expected, on battery life. Judging by the results, the improvement over its predecessor is even greater than one might have expected. The smartphone is equipped with an 8,500 mAh silicon-carbon battery, and in some regions, such as India, the battery capacity is as high as 9,000 mAh. Paired with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chip, built on a 3nm process, this has had a noticeable effect: in GSMArena tests, the device lasted 25 hours and 22 minutes of active use. The smartphone supports 100-watt charging, which can replenish 37% of the battery in 15 minutes, while a full charge takes approximately 52 minutes.
