Yes I have a LG v30 vs 996 from Verizon bought it several years back anyway finish paying it off they were supposed to unlock it and I end up leaving and going to a different network had no issues except I have still had the message that said see him not from Verizon no problem going on another Network some features didn't work I had to pay extra for them but anyway I started having problems last year with it with like I try to charge it I'd have to reset the phone to get it to charge and USB port is always almost always saying power supply I go into developer options it won't let me select nothing there it just doesn't bring anything up now and then they finally sent me an update at the time I didn't think nothing of it it did not want to install the update the phone kept crashing kept crashing and finally it's the phone kind of gave up and said put up a message saying update system update not not fully installed and ever since then it's still been acting the same anyway I finally figured out what it was somehow the phone is still partially locked cuz now cuz I was contacting them the other day to try to find out what to do and they inform me I had to call another number I called that number it's a debt collector even though I paid the phone off they unlocked it somehow some of it is they still have access to parts of the phone because they're trying to lock the phone back down or kill it one because they've done I was looking at some of the settings they've they've got the battery set the worst possible mode they can the USB port I try to it's difficult to get I have trouble getting it to charge but I had LG send me an update package to redo the updates and everything on it because I'm missing a lot of them I tried to do an update as soon as it tries to install the update the up Verizon upgrade Assistant kicks out and disables the USB port so what how would I go about I don't think this as far as I know this see him is not locked since I can put another same amount in it from a different network and we're just fine but I'm not sure what kind of unlock thing I have to deal with since it's just certain things on the phone because they're sending their I contacted the debt collector they have no clue who I am never heard of me know nothing contacted Verizon again basically kept getting the runarounds and you have to we can't talk to you you have to talk to the debt collector I done called and called again aggravated I know it's an old phone I like using it what would be my process of using the codes and stuff to try to get access to revoke their permissions on all the stuff they're messing with on here or at least get it unlocked where it's fully unlocked and they can't I'd like to get the phone unlocked where I can actually get it updated and working properly again and where they don't have access to it no more which at this point yeah they are not going to help me whatsoever with this phone to try to get it straightened out since they say I owe them quite a bit of money even though I don't cuz like the person I was talking to I said how what the phone have gotten unlocked where I can put another see him on in it to go to a different network unless you unlocked it and they didn't do that until I fully paid the phone off my contract was up and all that because I tried some of the codes but everywhere I look there's a different code listed for like the service menu and this and that I've had a few codes work for other things but like some of them sit there and say don't dial them don't punch the number in or don't hit send to copy the number and then hit paste and it automatically does it so I don't want to screw this phone up worse and I definitely don't want to get it in a position where they can take they do take control of the phone and lock it down so can I please get some help
