*#*#4636#*#* actually does NOT work, dialer just disappears and nothing happens. Been searching for a solution because I can't access preferred Network mode and LTE coverage is weak in my area. This was my alternative to change it but doesn't work for some reason. ATT support was not helpful either. They just don't care. John to get into developer mode go to SETTINGS > ABOUT PHONE > Tap BUILD NUMBER repeatedly until it unlocks developer mode, back out one menu and look for DEVELOPER OPTIONS Reply
