HMD has confirmed the launch date for its new budget smartphone, the Vibe 2 5G. In an official render, the company revealed the device's design, disclosed its color options, and confirmed some key specifications. The HMD Vibe 2 5G will be unveiled on May 21 and will serve as the direct successor to the HMD Vibe, which launched in India last September. An improvement in the new model will be a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 18-watt wired charging. A 50-megapixel sensor in the rear camera is also mentioned. In addition, this time the manufacturer will offer more color options. The color palette will include blue, pink, and purple. The design of the back panel resembles that of the iPhone 17 Pro?a rectangular main camera module and a highlighted area on the back panel. No other details about the HMD Vibe 2 5G are available yet. |
