All Xiaomi phones come with an associated Mi Account that allows you to create backups including contacts, audio, video, messages, pictures, notes and more.
1. Download and install the Mi Unlock Tool program on your PC.
2. Install Android SDK Platform Tools on your computer.
3. Turn off your phone. Boot your device into Recovery Mode. Press simultaneously Volume up + Power for a few seconds
4. Connect the device to the computer using a USB cable.
5. Open the Mi Unlock Tool program on your PC.
6. Click on the Bypass Mi Account button and the process shall now begin.
