Philips has unveiled the Evnia 27M2N6501L monitor, aimed at gamers. In addition to a fast quantum dot OLEDOLED technology was invented by Eastman Kodak in the early 1980s. OLED panels are made from organic (carbon based) materials that emit light when electricity is applied through them. Since OLEDs do not require a backlight and filters (unlike LCD displays), they are more efficient, simpler to make, and much thinner. OLEDs have a great picture quality - brilliant colors, fast response rate and a wide viewing angle. OLEDs can also be used to make OLED lighting - thin, efficient and without any bad metals.panel and support for useful gaming technologies, the model is interesting for its relatively affordable price for its segment.

The monitor is equipped with a 10-bit QD-OLED matrix with a diagonal of 26.5 inches, a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, and a refresh rate of 240 Hz. The back of the monitor features interactive Ambiglow lighting. The new product supports NVIDIA G-SYNC and MultiView technology, which allows it to display images from two signal sources.

The set of gaming features includes the Smart Crosshair on-screen crosshair with zoom and Stark ShadowBoost shadow enhancement.
