Pebble has published a teaser for a new model of its signature watch on social media. Judging by the promotional images, this is a remake of a previously released model that never became a bestseller. The teaser does not reveal the design of the device - instead, it shows a round dial with a hand and the presumed announcement date (December 9, 6 p.m. Moscow time). There are no round smartwatches in the current Pebble catalog - the brand released its first and only such model, called Time Round, before its closure and revival. At the time, the gadget did not win the public's love: it was criticized for its short battery life (up to two days), and the frame around the display was very thick even for its time. It is possible that the company will correct both of these shortcomings in the updated version. The technical specifications and price of the future novelty are still unknown. |
