It would seem that RAM  Random Access Memory (RAM) is the place in a computer where the operating system, application programs, and data in current use are kept so that they can be quickly reached by the computers processor. modules today can only surprise with their price. But the Origin Code brand still made a splash at CES 2026 with the extremely unusual design of its proprietary products. The Vortex kit, consisting of two strips, resembles a miniature video card due to its massive cooling system with three fans.DDR5 memory modules are equipped with massive aluminum alloy heat sinks with PCB4X thermal pads. Each pair of sticks can be additionally equipped with a cooler with three miniature fans that support speeds ranging from 800 to 8000 rpm. According to the manufacturer, cooling efficiency when using the proprietary accessory increases by almost 40% compared to the basic capabilities of the heat sinks. The vendor has announced kits of 2 x 16 GB, 2 x 24 GB, 2 x 48 GB, 4 x 48 GB, and 4 x 256 GB. The effective clock speed of the modules, depending on the configuration, is 6000 MHz (CL26), 6200 MHz (CL30), or 8000 MHz (CL36-47-47-108). The release date and prices of the new products have not yet been announced. |
