The company Nothing approached Marques Brownlee, author of the popular YouTube channel MKBHD, with an unusual proposal - to fantasize on the topic of an ideal smartphone. After listening to all the wishes of the blogger, the engineers calculated how much such a device could cost. Here is how Marques Brownlee described his ideal smartphone: 5800 mAh battery with fast charging support; screen from the Galaxy S24 Ultra, bright OLED, LTPO and anti-reflective coating, 6.1 inches diagonal; rear cameras from the Galaxy S24 Ultra, but with iPhone 16 Pro processing algorithms; front camera from the Pixel 9 Pro; 1TB of storage; an Apple A18 Pro or Snapdragon 8 Elite-level processor. Nothing designers have created a concept of such a smartphone, which is very similar to the Pixel 9 Pro, but with Nothing OS shell. The company also calculated the cost of materials of such a device. If you do not take into account the costs of production, software, support, logistics and so on, then all the selected components will cost about 500 dollars.
