Chinese company NKS introduced G27H4 Plus monitor - a new mid-budget gaming model with 300Hz refresh rate, 1440p resolution and color reproduction at the level of professional devices at a relatively low cost.
The NKS G27H4 Plus has an 8-bit Fast IPS In Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..matrix with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 300Hz. Response time is 1ms and peak brightness in HDR HDR stands for High Dynamic Range imaging, and it is an old photography practice recently introduced to cameraphones like the iPhone and some Android devices (or with the use of special apps). mode is 400 nits. Also stated wide color coverage (95% of the DCI-P3 gamut), contrast ratio of 1000:1 and ΔE less than two units, which indicates high-quality color reproduction.
The monitor is placed on a stand with height adjustment within 10 cm, tilt and swivel with the ability to rotate to vertical mode. To connect to a PC there are HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 connectors, and for headphones - a 3.5 mm connector.
The monitor is already available for purchase in China at a price of $167.
